Dicky Amaya, founder and president of Amaya Glaze Co., Inc. 

I started the company in 1978,  reglazing tubs but soon saw the need of repairing new tubs that where defective or damaged through construction.  Through the years, there have been many changes in products and the techniques used to repair them.  My philosophy in business has been to give the customer a finished product that I would be proud of and would have in my own house.  I want the customer to feel confident in us and our professionalism. 

My wife, Marywinn, and I have been married since New Years Eve, 1976.    

We have three children: a son ,Evan,  a Graduate of UNC Charlotte, Mechanical Engineering  a daughter, Cora, a 2005 graduate from UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene;  and a daughter, Isabel, a 2007 graduate from UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts  in Spanish and Political Science.

Blair Jones has been working with Amaya Glaze since the fall of 2004.  She is our office manager, working in the office with Amanda, Maria and Baird. 

Her husband is Josh and he is on staff with Young Life in Cleveland County.  www.clevelandcounty.younglife.org
